AUVSI SUAS 2022

I am immensely proud to announce that UAS-DTU, the multidisciplinary team of aspiring aerospace, mechanical, electrical, and software engineering students that I had the honor of leading, achieved an outstanding feat of placing third in the 2022 Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) Student Unmanned Air Systems (SUAS) competition.

Held at the Patuxent River Naval Air Station (NAS) in St. Mary's County, Maryland, the competition requires students to demonstrate an Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) capable of autonomous flight, navigation, and remote sensing. The competition, held annually since 2002, is a renowned event that attracts teams from all over the globe.

UAS-DTU was able to take the 3rd spot amongst more than 70 international teams for their comprehensive technical report, 5th in Flight Readiness Review and 12th overall. Congratulations to all the members of UAS-DTU!
